SABBATH MARK
VIDEO: The Reality Of The Sabbath
This is a challenge to engage Christians to think.
Are we identified with the beast, or Yahuah?
All Scripture is "Alahim-breathed."
We are trained by Scripture to BEHAVE.
We are trained by Christianity to MISBEHAVE.
The Shabath (Sabbath) is a MARK.
We've been deceived by the dragon in many ways, and one of them is the idea
that Sun-day is “holy.”
Without someone to teach them the truth, they have little hope of learning how
the tradition of Sun-day came to supersede the 7th day Shabath, the day blessed
by Yahuah from the foundation of the world. The sign of the Eternal Covenant has
been substituted with a counterfeit MARK in the forehead and right hand of the
beast’s servants. Identifying the mark involves a riddle. Those marked by
the beast can buy and sell. Those who do not buy and sell on the 7th day of each
week are marked as Yahuah’s servants. The anti-Semitism of the church fathers
has influenced the interpretation of key verses in Scripture.
Yahukanon identified the beast in a coded-riddle using the sum of the numerals of Rome (DCLXVI, totaling 666).
The MARK of this beast’s authority is, by it’s
own admission, recognized by attributing devotion to the Day of the Sun.
The Hebrew word SHABATH means:
rest, cease.
THE CREATOR YAHUAH SAID:
‘Six days
work
is done, and on the seventh is a
Shabath
of rest,
set-apart to
Yahuah.
Everyone
doing work on the Shabath day shall certainly be put
to death. And the children of Yisharal shall guard the
Shabath, to observe the
Shabath
throughout their
generations as an everlasting covenant. Between
Me and the children of Yisharal it is a
sign
forever.
For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the
earth, and on the seventh day
He rested
and was
refreshed.’
- Exodus / Shemoth 31:15-17
BYNV
The
7th day
is the first of Yahuah’s appointed times,
(Lev 23:3) and it is the everlasting “sign.”
THE COUNCIL OF LAODICEA SAID:
"Christians should not Judaize and should not be idle on the Sabbath, but should work on that day; they should, however, particularly reverence the Lord’s day and, if possible, not work on it, because they are Christians"
Council of Laodicea, Canon 29, 365 CE
These
words of men
specify “the Sabbath” is to be a day of
work,
and to render devotion to the “Lord’s
day”,
also known as the “Day of the Sun” - Sun-day.
The Hebrew word
BAAL
is defined as
LORD.
Satan knows which day Shabath is, also noted by this
council which called the 7th day: “the
Sabbath.”
SERVING IS OBEYING; OBEYING IS WORSHIP
“Do
you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience,
you are servants of the one
whom you obey,
whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?”
-
Rom 6:16
“And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve
Yahuah,
choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve,
whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or
the mighty ones of the
Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house,
we serve Yahuah.”
Joshua / Yahusha 24:15
YAHUAH BLESSED THE 7TH DAY
- GEN 2:3:
“And
Alahim
blessed the seventh day and set
it apart, because on it He rested from all His
work which Alahim in creating had made."
Some have claimed the Commandment of the
Shabath day was not
repeated
in the “NT”,
so it
may be
disregarded
by Gentiles who believe in
Yahusha. In all Scripture, the Shabath is mentioned
170 times. 61 of the 170 are found between Mt. & Revelation,
so the claim it is not repeated is
untrue.
Hebrews reminds us of the foundation of the world,
and how
we
are
to rest
on the
7th day:
“For we who have believed do enter into that rest,
as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, if they shall
enter into My rest ...” And yet His works have come
into being from
the foundation of the world.
For somewhere He has said thus about the
seventh
day,
‘And Alahim rested on the
seventh day
from
all His works,’ and in this again, ‘If they shall enter
into My rest …’ Since then it
remains for some to
enter into it, and those who formerly received the
besorah did not enter in because of
disobedience,
He again defines a certain day, ‘Today,’ saying
through Daud
so much later, as it has been said,
‘Today, if you hear His Voice, do not harden your
hearts.’ For if Yahusha had given them rest, He
would not have spoken of
another day
after that.
So there remains a Sabbath-keeping for the people
of Alahim.”
- Heb. 4:3-9
Our
Hebrew roots
were intentionally severed by
Church (Circus) “fathers”, Councils, and edicts.
The
sign of the 7th day was removed, and
another
sign
(mark) was invented to show compliance in a beastly
system under a woman (church).
Eusibius of Caesaria recorded in his Ecclesiastical
History the words of Emperor Constantine,
“let us have nothing in common with the
hostile rabble of the Yahudim”.
Anti-Semitism was the norm among the State Church
“fathers”.
Shabath was very
repugnant
to them.
According to the Council of Laodicea,
all who observe the Shabath as a day of rest from work
were labelled
Judaizers,
heretics,
and
anathema.
This meant they were worthy of death.
Observing Shabath by resting is addressed at Hebrews 4, and associated with imitating Yahuah,
Who rested from His work on the 7th day of the week,
which He established as the sign of the Eternal Covenant.
(Ez 20:12, Ex 31:13, YashaYahu 56:2-7).
At Yahusha's return, He will gather all who have
held fast to His Covenant,
all peoples that have
guarded His Shabath:
“Also the sons of the foreigner who join them-
selves to
Yahuah
to serve Him, and to love the
Name of Yahuah, to be His servants, all who
guard the Shabath, and not profane it, and hold
fast to My Covenant – them I shall bring to My
qodesh mountain, and let them rejoice in My
house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their
offerings are accepted on My altar, for My house
is called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”
YashaYahu / Isa
56:6,

TRIBULATION WARNING FOR LAST DAYS:
“And pray that your flight does not
take place in winter or on the Shabath.”
His chosen ones have always behaved differently
from the lost. The lost cannot discern the Voice of
the Shepherd. They have been taught “legalism” is
a negative attribute, a character flaw.
Their conscience fails to warn them, it is seared as
with a hot iron. Acts 15;21 shows us that gentiles
were to further their knowledge of Yahuah’s Torah:
“For from ancient generations
Mosheh
has, in
every city, those proclaiming him –
being read in
the congregations every Shabath.”
The cultures of the entire planet affirm the 7-day week.
108
of their languages base the name for the 7th day on the original Hebrew word:
Ancient Syriac: shabatho, Babylonian: sabatu, Arabic: assabt, Etheopic: sanbat,
Armenian: shapat, Polynesian: hari sabtu, Swahili: assabt, Latin: Sabbatum,
Italian: Sabbato, Spanish: Sabado, Russian: Subbota, Polish: Sobota, Assyrian:
Sabata, Tigre: Sanbat, Kurdish: Shamba, Georgian: Shabati, Morduin: Subbota,
Portuguese: Sabbado, New Slovenian: Sobota, Prussian: Sabatico.
TWISTING SCRIPTURE
Translations
alter key texts, making it seem the first followers behaved in a new pattern,
resting on “Sun-day” rather than the Shabath.
The
KJV
says “first day of the week”, making it appear the disciples met in this
pattern. They promote the idea that “Sun-day” supersedes the Shabath. Here is
the
KJV:
Act 20:7,
8:
And
upon
the
first
day
of
the
week,
when
the
disciples
came together
to
break
bread,
Paul
preached
unto them,
ready
to depart
on the
morrow;
and
continued
his
speech
until
midnight.
And
there were
many
lights
in
the
upper
chamber
where
they were
gathered together.
In the Greek it does not say “the first day of the
week”, but rather “first Sabbaton”
(Greek transliteration form, “Shabath”).
The words “day
of the”
are added by translators.
The context is ignored, and it is made to seem that
Paul was officiating at a “Sun-day” meeting.
“Break bread” refers to a fellowship meal.
It was at the close of the Shabath they came together
because
Paul was departing the next morning,
explaining the “lamps” in the upper room.
Paul spoke to them for hours, even past midnight.
This day was the “first
Sabbaton”
in the
count
to
Shabuoth mentioned later in the chapter:
Act 20:16:
“For
Paul
had decided to sail past
Ephesos, so that he might lose no time in Asia, for
he was hurrying to be at Yerushalayim, if possible,
on the day of Shabuoth (now called Pentecost)".
Shabuoth is the morrow after the 7th Shabath (Greek, "Sabbaton"),
counted from the day after the weekly Shabath
during Unleavened Bread, called
First-fruits
(a
shadow
of Yahusha’s resurrection).
Paul was intending to be in Yerushalayim in order
to observe Shabuoth, the anniversary of the giving
of Torah at Sinai. How “legalistic” of him, eh?
ANOTHER KJV EXAMPLE
Revelation 1:10:
"
I was
in
the Spirit
on
the
Lord's
day "
This
KJV
passage is used to steer the idea that
“Lord’s
day”
refers to the first day of the
week.
The
revelation
shown to him by Yahusha
concerned the future “Day
of Yahuah”
spoken of
by all the prophets. Yahukanon is not telling us
what day of the week it happened to be, but rather
that he was “in the Spirit” and
shown the future
Day of
Yahuah
that is coming.
It’s prophecy.
REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY
Most teach that Yahuah has replaced His
people, Yisharal
(Israel), with foreigners.
They are taught to shun the Commandments
that define sin for us. To them, what was once an
offense, even an abomination, is considered annulled.
Obeying the Covenant is “legalism” the attempt to earn salvation by works.
Faith, without works, is dead. Works perfects our faith.
Obeying Yahuah’s Commandments is evidence
that we belong to Him. The Shabath day is a
sign
between Yahuah and His people
forever.
If Replacement Theology is true, and Yahuah has
replaced His people, then He has broken His Word.
Here’s what He says about it:
“Have you not observed what these people have
spoken, saying, ‘The two clans which
Yahuah
has
chosen have been
rejected
by Him’? So they have
despised My people no more to be a nation before
them. Thus said
Yahuah,
‘If My covenant is not
with day and night, and if I have not appointed the
laws of the heavens and earth, then I would also
reject the descendants of YaAqob
and Daud My
servant, so that I should not take of his descend-
ants to be rulers over the descendants of Abra-
ham, Yitshaq, and YaAqob. For I shall turn back
their captivity, and have compassion on them.’ ”
Jer / YirmeYahu 33:24-26
“On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain-sowing or for vine-planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost.”
March, 7, 321 CE (Violation called
for the death penalty)
YAHUAH GAVE HIS WORD
As for changing His Covenant, or casting off His people, Yahuah made this
promise:
Jer 31:35:
"Thus
said
Yahuah,
Who gives the sun
for a light by day, and the laws of the moon and
the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea,
and its waves roar –
Yahuah
Tsabaoth is His
Name: ‘If these laws vanish from before Me,’
declares
Yahuah,
‘then the seed of Yisharal shall
also cease from being a nation before Me forever.’
Thus said
Yahuah,
‘If the heavens above could be
measured, and the foundations of the earth
searched out beneath, I would also cast off all the
seed of Yisharal for all that they have done,’
declares
Yahuah.”
Jer / YirmeYahu 31:35-37
Outsiders
must “engraft” and become partakers
of the promises through the Everlasting Covenant.
At Col. 2:16 we read: “Let
no one
therefore
judge
you
in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast
or a new moon or
Shabaths
–
which are a
shadow
of what is to come for the Body of
the Mashiak.”
Shabaths, feasts, and so on are how we are differ
from the
beast system that wants to judge us.
The
festivals are redemptive shadows, a
format
of how Yahusha is redeeming His wife, Yisharal. Within the 7-day week we find
the
sign
of the Eternal Covenant, the
7th day:
Uyiqara / Lev 23:3:
Six days
work
is done, but the seventh day is a
Shabath
of
rest,
a set-apart miqra. You do
no work,
it is a
Shabath
to
Yahuah
in all your dwellings.
We rest in our dwelling on Shabath.
COMMERCE CEASES
Shemoth/Ex 16:29: "See,
because
Yahuah
has
given you the Shabath, therefore He is giving
you bread for two days on the sixth day. Let
each one stay in his place, do not let anyone
go out of his place on the seventh day."
Yahuah explained how to observe the Shabath.
We
stay in our place,
and observe the day in our
dwelling,
resting. Catholicism ordered weekly
attendance for all laity (people) under pain of
mortal sin on
Sunday,
but Yahuah said no such
thing even for His Shabath day. We may meet
together for study and praise on any day, include
ing Shabath,
if
it is within a
Shabath distance
(Acts 1:12). We are ordered to meet together 3
times in a year, at the festivals of Yahuah—Dt 16.
CATHOLICISM’S
MARK
OF AUTHORITY
The
Catechism of Catholic Doctrine
states:
“QUESTION: Which is the Sabbath day?
ANSWER: Saturday is the Sabbath day.
QUESTION: Why do we observe Sunday in
stead of Saturday?
ANSWER: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the
Council of Laodicea
(AD 365)
transferred the
solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.”
Catholic Record," London/Ontario, Sept. 1, 1923:
"Sunday is our mark of authority. The church is above the Bible,
and this transference of Sabbath observance (to Sunday) is proof of that fact."
H. F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons:
"Of course the Catholic Church claims that the
change was her act... And the act is a MARK of
her ecclesiastical authority in religious things."
WHAT IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST?
It’s here, and it might be on you. It has a purpose,
and is related to “buying
and selling.”
There is a
riddle
at Revelation 13 involving buying and selling, and a mark of
a beast allows those who obey the beast to
buy and sell
whenever they like. To solve the
riddle,
we have to correctly interpret the words wisdom and beast,
and how
buying and selling is
related to a mark.
Essentially there is a distinction drawn between those who engage in commercial activity,
and those who
do not engage in it.
The riddle has to be interpreted by those having wisdom.
What is “wisdom”?
Pro 9:10: “The
fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the set-apart
One is understanding.”
Those who know Yahuah possess wisdom and understanding because they have His instructions for living: His Torah. They are not lawless, so they obey (worship) Yahuah. They have a sign that marks them as Yahuah’s people. The sign between Yahuah and His people forever is the 7th day of each week, the Shabath (Sabbath, Ex. 31:16, 17, Ezek. 20:12). Shabath is a word that means “cease”. Commercial activity comes to a halt. Someone might say, resting on the Shabath day is 'Judaizing', we're not under the law. It’s the penalty of the law we’re not under, Yahusha took that penalty for us. No mention of a change in the Commandment exists in Scripture, but Catholicism claims the change made by Constantine is their "mark" of authority. When asked about the end of days, Yahusha said "And pray that your flight does not take place in winter or on the Shabath." (Mt. 24:20)
He wasn't referring to Constantine's
Day of the Sun,
Sun-Day. NekemYah (Nehemiah) was the mayor/governor of Yerushalayim when Koresh
allowed the Yahudim to rebuild the city after 70 years of captivity in Babel.
Read chapter 13 and note how people were engaging in trade on the Shabath, and
why he put a stop to it. Commerce is forbidden on the Shabath under penalty of
death. The beast system made it law to
work
on the Shabath; so
who’s
your
daddy -
Rome (the beast), or Yahuah?
THE RIDDLE at
Revelation 13 is
unsolvable
for those who do not have
wisdom.
Those without wisdom are unable to interpret the number of the beast, and so are
looking for
chips
and
barcodes
-neither of which are violations of any Commandments. Engaging in
commercial activity
on the Shabath day clearly
marks
a person as being a servant of the beast, the primary scheme of the dragon.
The “forehead” is the repository of our thinking; the “right hand” is our
outward behavior,
revealing what is in our “forehead”. Our
obedience of Torah
is the
sign
we serve Yahuah. If we engage in commerce on Shabath, we serve the beast.
The beast is set up as
principalities
and
powers
over all nations under its authority, given to it by the
dragon
(serpent).
The beast seeks worship, obedience, and compliance, setting itself against
Yahuah’s Torah.
The beast endeavors to misdirect
all people
away from Torah,
and hide the true Name of salvation, and His Word (wisdom), misleading the
nations. Those
without
the beast’s mark do
not buy
and sell by
their own
choice,
not the beast’s.
Why would some choose to not buy and sell, and who
are they?
They are Covenant keepers, the Natsarim.
What or who is the beast?
It operates in 3 echelons of control:
clergy, nobility (rulers),
and common
people (laity).
To "measure" or "calculate" the wrong day for Shabath is the main
objective. Those who adhere to the “Sun-day Sabbath" can "buy and sell" (on the
true Sabbath).
Those who
do not
buy and sell have calculated (interpreted) “the
number”
correctly, and therefore do not profane the true Sabbath. The beast doesn't
prevent anyone from buying and selling,
we
decide to not buy and sell. Those who do not have the mark of the beast cannot
buy and sell, but only on the Sabbath, the 7th day of each week. They choose to
obey
Yahuah
-
and do not serve (worship) the beast.
YAHUSHA’S BRIDE PREPARES
Here is our warning before the Day of Yahuah:
“Remember the
Torah of Mosheh,
My servant,
which I commanded him in
Horeb
for all Yisharal
–
laws and right-rulings. See, I am sending you
AliYahu
the prophet before the coming of the great and
awesome
day of
Yahuah.
And he shall turn the hearts
of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the
children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the
Earth with
utter
destruction.”
Malaki 4:4-6
Who understands this?
The
Torah of Mosheh
is the very thing most are
told to avoid, and all we hear is “legalism!”
when
obedience is mentioned. What if we were to be found
obeying
His Commandments when He returns?
How tragic could it be? Obedience is the
fruit
He is
looking for, and especially so from His bride.
She may have many spots and wrinkles, but she is
preparing herself for her Bridegroom.
