WHAT IS IT?
To prophesy can mean to rightly interpret the meaning of inspired text, or it can be the foretelling of something to come.
When we read about a prophecy yet to come, it may have multiple fulfillments, some being shadows of the final fulfillment.
They are all most significant after they come to pass, not before they do.
Prophecies show us how much in control of everything Yahusha is. He reveals to His servants the prophets what He is about to do.
"Does a bird fall into a snare on the earth, where there is no trap for it?
Does a snare spring up from the earth, if it has not captured prey?
If a ram’s horn is blown in a city, do the people not tremble?
If there is calamity in a city, shall not Yahuah have done it?
For the Master Yahuah does no matter unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
A lion has roared! Who is not afraid?
The Master Yahuah has spoken! Who would not prophesy?" Amus 3:5-8
"Who shall separate us from the love of the Mashiak?
Shall pressure, or distress, or persecution, or scarcity of food, or
nakedness, or danger, or sword?
As it has been written, 'For Your sake we are killed all day long, we
are reckoned as sheep of slaughter.'
But in all this we are more than over-comers through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers nor
principalities nor powers, neither the present nor the future, nor height nor
depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
Alahim which is in Mashiak Yahusha our Master." Romans
8:35-39.
When they come and say, "look out for the four blood moons!", or the next scary event they pretend to foretell, go to Malaki 4:1-6.
Our preparation for the Reign of Yahusha is to remember
the Torah of Mosheh, and repent - for the reign of Yahuah draws near.
