HOW TO GO TO HELL
TO PERISH WITHOUT THE TRUTH, AND DO AS THOU WILT
HOW WILL WE BE CONDEMNED?
“The good man brings forth what is good from the good treasures of his heart, and the wicked man brings forth what is wicked from the wicked treasure. And I say to you for every idle word men speak, they shall give an account of it in the day of judgment.
For by your words you shall be declared righteous, and by your words you shall
be declared unrighteous.”
Mt. 12:35-37
People will perish because they refused to receive a love for
the Truth. Yahusha told us,
“A good tree is unable to yield wicked fruit, and a rotten tree to yield good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
So then, by their fruits you shall know them – Not
everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter
into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in
the heavens.
Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in
Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty
works in Your Name?’ Then I shall declare to them,
‘I
never
knew you, depart from Me,
you who work lawlessness!’
- Mt. 7:18-23
A sister asked,
“Will you go to hell for celebrating pagan holidays?”
We’re definitely not to observe the ways of the heathen, nor
serve Yahuah in their way:
“Thus
said
Yahuah,‘Do
not learn the way of the
gentiles and do not be awed by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are
awed by them, for the prescribed customs of these peoples are worthless, for one
cuts a tree from the forest, work for the hands of a craftsman with a cutting
tool. They adorn it with silver and gold, they fasten it with nails and hammers
so that it does not topple.”
- Jer / YirmeYahu 10:2-4
“When Yahuah your Alahim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess,
and you dispossess them and dwell in their land, guard yourself that you are not
ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you
do not inquire about their mighty ones, saying,
‘How did these nations serve their mighty ones? And let me do so too. Do not do so to Yahuah your Alahim, for every abomination which Yahuah hates they have done to their mighty ones, for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their mighty ones.
All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it – do not add to it nor take
away from it.”
- Dt. 12:29-32
We are not to return, as a dog, to the vomit we have expelled:
“For
it would have been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness,
than having known it,
to turn from the set-apart command
delivered to them.
For them the proverb has proved true,
‘A
dog returns to his own vomit,’
and,
‘A washed sow returns to her rolling in the mud.’”
-2Pet 2:21-22
Any crime is forgivable if we turn away from it (repent).
If we know Yahusha, we do not mix pagan observances
with our worship of Him.
We are to
“walk even as He walked.”
- 1Yn. 2:3-6
Yahusha is our Judge. The reason we cannot judge
another servant is because we cannot see what is in their
heart. We can recognize a servant by their fruits (behavior).
Another problem we have is we easily see the splinters in
the eyes of others, but we’re unaware of the huge log in our
own. If we slander a servant to his master, we will likely face great wrath. We
pray we are forgiven our debts (crimes) as we forgive others their debts against
us.
IS ANYONE IN HELL NOW?
No one is actually in “hell” yet. Hell is referred to by the Hebrew idiom,
“lake of fire” (YAM AISH). The first to “go into” the lake of
fire will be the beast and false prophet:
“And
the beast was seized, and with him the false
prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he
led astray those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his
image.
The two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning
with sulphur.”
-
Rev 19:20
The
two
are the first to perish.
Feeling loved is fulfillment. Any other possession we may have such as
knowledge, belief, prophecy, abilities, or fame, does not fulfill. Our hearts
ache until we feel we are loved. This is a small taste of hell.
LOVE WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE
Hell is experienced by anyone who is cut-off from love. Yahuah is love. One can
be very wealthy, yet feel unfulfilled
because they are unloved.
We taste hell when our spouse is angry with us.
The connection is broken for a time, and we languish in hellish torture until we
are “restored” to love. This is our make-up, because Yahuah breathed His
characteristics into us by sharing His essence with the first human being.
Yahuah wants us to love Him, but He does not force us to.
Yahuah loves us so much that He came among us to show us how love delivers us
from hell, and He did it in many ways; including laying His life down for all of
us. Yahusha saw all of them observing traditions, and not showing they loved Him
by obeying His Commandments.
“‘This
people draw near to Me with their mouth, and respect Me with their lips, but
their heart is far from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as
teachings the commands of men.’”
- Mt. 15:8-9
We have inherited
nothing
but lies and futility, repeating the same behavior He hates:
GUARDING TRADITIONS
Our teachers have misled us by making us believe we can know Yahusha without
using His one true Name, and by
doing nothing He commanded.
We must receive a love for the Truth; Yahuah’s
Word
is Truth.
His Ten Words of love teach us how to
love Yahuah
and how to
love our neighbor.
(WISDOM)
Yahusha is our Good Shepherd Who guides us in paths of righteousness for His
Name’s sake.
Yn 10:27-28: “My sheep hear My
voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
And I give them everlasting life, and they shall by no means ever perish, and no
one shall snatch them out of My
hand.”
At the end of the
Millennium,
Yahusha will judge all those not in the
first resurrection.
Those whose names are not found in the Scroll of Life will be cast into the lake
of fire, cut off from love.
This is the second death.
Many understand the
Hebrew idiom “lake of fire” to be
utter
annihilation.
The words Yahusha used to describe
it mean
“destroy”
and
“perish.”
Whatever it is, we should desire to learn to do what is
pleasing
to Yahusha rather than face the
the
second death
in hell.
“Let
no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these the wrath of
Alahim
comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partakers with
them. For you were once darkness, but now
you are
light in the Master. Walk as children of light – for the fruit of the Spirit is
in all goodness
and righteousness, and
Truth,
proving what is well-pleasing to the Master.
Have
no fellowship with the fruitless works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For it is a shame even to speak of what is done by
them in secret.”
- Eph. 5:6-12
OBEYING HIM IS PROOF THAT WE KNOW HIM
By ignoring Torah, we choose death.
If we don’t obey His Commands, we don’t know Him.
“And
by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says,
‘I
know Him,’
and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the
Truth
is not in him.
But whoever guards His Word,
truly the love of
Alahim
has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says
he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.”
- 1Yn. 2:3-6
OBEDIENCE PERFECTS BELIEF, BUT MEN’S TEACHINGS ARE LEAVEN, CORRUPTING THE HEARTS (WINESKINS) OF THE DECEIVED.
Those who refuse to receive a love for the Truth are sent a
strong delusion (2Thess 2:1-12).
Hebrews 11 shows us it is impossible to please Yahuah
without
amunah
(faithfulness).
Our amunah is perfected by
obedience.
Hebrews 11 gives
many examples of how those having amunah acted on their
belief in Yahuah by
obeying Him.
Note Revelation 12.
The
first-fruits
are those who
obey
the Commandments, and hold to the testimony of Yahusha.
There are many false teachers and deceiving spirits in the world.
If you abide in
His
Word, you are truly His, and you will know the Truth, and be set free from men,
and the reign of the beast. (BABEL)
